Slovak footballer Peter \u0160tepanovsk\u00fd ( 26 ) , who is the most famous because of his spectacular goal against AS Roma in jersey of Slovan Bratislava, has completed the first weeks in the Armenian team FC Banants . Club of Yerevan trained by Zsolt Horny\u00e1k is one of the best in the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is Banants satisfied with the results ?<\/p>\n

– Since the beginning of spring part of Armenian league we won every duel but one. Although we lost also in the opening of\u00a0domestic Cup\u00a0semifinal meeting we’ll have a chance for retaliation. We want to get to the final.<\/p>\n

How are you doing ?<\/p>\n

– I am satisfied with the performance . But it still can be improved. I always try to play the best .<\/p>\n

You’re on the second place in the Armenian league. Is there a chance for you to win a title?<\/p>\n

– I think we have a good team . And we will do our best to to celebrate a title after the season.<\/p>\n

You have already scored two goals for Banats . Are you becoming a shooter ?<\/p>\n

– Well , I had some more chances I could turn …. ( smile ) . I’m glad I put those goals and I will try to score in other duels too.<\/p>\n

What is the level of the Armenian league?<\/p>\n

– Comparable to Slovak top league. In Armenian league play a lot of clever footballers .<\/p>\n

If Banants played in the Slovak league in which part of the table would they move?<\/p>\n

– Certainly in the first half .<\/p>\n

In what condition are stadiums in Armenia?<\/p>\n

– So far I’ve played in two stadiums. Both of them small and old.<\/p>\n

And how does it look in your club? What conditions are in FC Banants ?<\/p>\n

– Training Centre is at a high level. You can find a gym, swimming pool and good recovery. Such a center has a few people in Slovakia… In our club stand is the stadium where we host our opponents .<\/p>\n

How long does take the journey to the opponent who is the most far?<\/p>\n

– Longest journey is about five hours but usually it’s only an hour. Moreover, we also have visitors from Yerevan.<\/p>\n

Is football the most popular sport in the country?<\/p>\n

– I do not know exactly but probably not. To watch football goes around 1,500 people. Same like in Slovakia. Sometimes it’s more. And a media interest? Only a few journalists\u00a0attend the matches .<\/p>\n

On what purpose you came to Armenia?<\/p>\n

– Regularly playing to show up in a good light. And in the summer to move higher .<\/p>\n

Generally, what is the life like in Armenia?<\/p>\n

– Here in Yerevan it is good. But when you go out of town it ‘s not so rosy .<\/p>\n

What are the locals ?<\/p>\n

– Without any problems! Would do everything for you.<\/p>\n

If you go out where you go most often with your girlfriend?<\/p>\n
