In the summer of 2012, Tom\u00e1\u0161 \u010eubek found himself among a group of &#8220;unwanted&#8221; players who had been banned from MFK Ru\u017eomberok\u2019s locker rooms.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A year ago, I had no idea what was going to happen to me,\u201d the 26-year-old midfielder smiled. And now, I am among the best. That\u2019s great.&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0Tom\u00e1\u0161 finally returned to the team last year, becoming a central figure of MFK. He was named Ru\u017eomberok captain and scored nine goals in the spring. Then he was invited to join Slovakia\u2019s national team. &#8220;I\u2019m glad I could prove to everyone that I can still help both my club and the national team with my play,\u201d said \u010eubek, who recently extended his contract with &#8220;Rose&#8221; until the summer of 2016.
