Denis, on Friday he played for Žilina in the Fortuna League. Did you know yesterday that you are flying to Copenhagen today?

– My manager Maťo Petráš told me that we go to Denmark for 99%. During the match I did not have the head, I concentrated on the game. I wanted to do everything to win Zilina. I’m glad we got on Trnava.

Did you say to the guy after the meeting that you are most likely going to FC Copenhagen?

– The coach asked me after the match that he looks like he looks with me. I told him the clubs agreed and I flew to Denmark for health tests.

What did you do all through today?

– Medical examination, I signed a contract, met with the club’s representatives, and interviewed the club.

Where did you sign the contract?

– At Parken stadium. Where we recently played with Zilina.

It is well known that Copenhagen was interested in you in May. Did you think during the duel of the Champions League that you could be on the other side?

– No, I was concentrating on Zilina’s performance. That’s when I took it so that there would be nothing to get out of Copenhagen. And you see how it got … 🙂

Ján Greguš is working in the Danish master’s dress. Have you been in contact with him?

– Not yet. Tomorrow is a league match, we meet after a break. I am very glad to have a compatriot in the club who will help me to get a new job.

What number will you play with?

– They’ve given me free numbers to thirty. As the 19th was available, I chose it.

What’s your next program?

– Today we are going home, tomorrow I will report on the Slovakian 21st. The next day after meeting against Northern Ireland (September 5), I will report on training my new club.

Denis, what is the feeling of going to the top European club?

– It has not happened yet … It was very fast … But one thing is certain, it is an amazing feeling. I’m full of expectations.

In Žilina he played for six years …

– Thanks to the whole club, teammate, coach, implementation team and fans for wonderful years.
